15 These, then, are the things you should teach. Encourage and rebuke with all authority. Do not let anyone despise you. Titus 2:15
Paul basically told Titus that he had the authority of Christ behind him so he had nothing to fear. That’s encouraging when you’re in the midst of battles on spiritual fronts, and the enemy is hurling accusations at you right and left. What’s interesting to me is that he tells them to encourage and rebuke with all authority. Encouragement and rebuking are polar opposites of each other. The bottom line was he had an open door to minister to people regardless of who they are or their status. It’s the same as saying be bold and courageous.
Today you are facing a decision that needs boldness and courage. Deep in your heart you know what you need to do. I don’t know what that decision is but God does. You’ve been asking God what to do, but you yourself know what you should be doing. Take a step of faith today.
