5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test? 6 And I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test. 2 Corinthians 13:5-6
Paul was still speaking to the skeptics, those who thought less of him. As a continuation of verse three, Paul wanted them to know that the same power in him was the same power that should have been in them. In that sense he was questioning their faith. Did they really believe like they said they did? Were they actually in the faith?
It’s a question we should ask ourselves from time to time, especially when our actions and words don’t match our beliefs.
It’s a simple two-part question. Is Jesus in you? What is the day to day evidence Jesus is in you?
