For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods. Psalm 95:3

If you’re not careful you might conclude from this verse that God is one of many gods, perhaps a first among equals.

That is absolutely false.

It’s like comparing a gnat with an elephant. You can’t compare the two. There is no comparison.

It’s the same with God, there can be no comparison because even if I were to think of the greatest contrast between two things in the world, God is superior in every way to my biggest thing. It’s actually embarrassing to compare and contrast Him to anything.

That being said, He is also personable and ready to listen. If every single creature on the planet were to talk to Him at the same time, He would have time for all.

That, my friends, is an awesome God!
