22 And one thing more: Prepare a guest room for me, because I hope to be restored to you in answer to your prayers. Philemon 22
Have you ever prayed and not heard an answer to your prayer? Oh sure, God’s answers are “Yes, No, and Wait” or whatever the meme of the month is (to me, that response is a convenient way of answering a very difficult question about answered prayer). Of course we’ve all prayed and got not response at all – not after a week, a month or even a few years. I am currently living though a situation where I am seeing very concrete answers to my vague prayers. I say they’re vague because I don’t know how to pray for the situation, so I just pray. There’s a spiritual battle going on in the heavenlies over this issue and I know who will win, but how will God win? That’s the part that’s beyond our control and our prayer. (If I’m being vague in writing this, it’s intentional. It’s ongoing and still a battle that we ultimately know God will win, but how?)
You all have those kinds of prayers. The battles around you are fierce and you don’t know how God will answer, only that He will.
Continue to pray, knowing the God has the answer for you at the right time and place. God will once again prove Himself to you and see you through to the end. It’s a battle, and the forces of hell are not going to give one inch willingly. Throw on the whole armor of God and continue to pray for resolution. God will see you through.
