11 the Lord delights in those who fear him,
who put their hope in his unfailing love. Psalm 147:10-11

As Americans we tend to put a lot of stock into our military might around the world. But we all know that the history books are filled with very powerful military regimes that were completely decimated. They trusted that their power would save them.

From verses like these we understand that the strength of a nation is not in her military might, but in her allegiance to God.
