Have you ever been taunted for what you’ve said or believed? I’m not referring to the stuff that happened when we were children, but as adults. The taunts are a little more sophisticated and cutting. Sometimes it’s something you’ve overhead someone say about a project you were on that didn’t go well. Other times a person may be criticizing how you raise your kids. Taunts from foolish people come in all varieties. Sadly, we participate in this foolish talk often enough.

Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. James 3:10
