What Is God’s Will

18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Thankfulness is a learned trait, and anyone can do it. Like the “rejoice always” words two days ago, it’s very easy to give thanks when all is well. It’s those times where life treats us rough that is harder to be thankful.

All of these characteristics we’ve been discussing these last few days are all God’s will for our life. Rejoicing, praying, thanking, striving to do what’s right for each other are all God’s will. We may not know God’s will for which university to attend, which job to apply for, or where to live, but we know some very practical actions to take for daily living.

Read over these last three verses again, and meditate on them. How could implementing them a little more in your life change things? What would it take?
