44 Yet he took note of their distress when he heard their cry;
45 for their sake he remembered his covenant and out of his great love he relented.
46 He caused all who held them captive to show them mercy. Psalm 107:44-46
I’ve always wondered how many cries it takes for God’s people to get God’s attention.
How many people are involved?
Does it depend on the size of the problem?
Does it matter the “holiness” of the people crying out?
At what point do people give up in their cries for help because not everyone gets rescued from danger?
Of course I’m looking for a formula when no such formula exists. God cannot or will not be contained or limited by anything except His own character. Just when you think you may have discovered this formula, it’ll change on you.
And that’s the way it’s supposed to be.
