When there were no oceans, I was given birth, when there were no springs abounding with water;
before the mountains were settled in place, before the hills, I was given birth,
before he made the earth or its fields or any of the dust of the world.

God’s wisdom preceded creation itself. Try to wrap your mind around that notion for a second. Everything we touch on this earth took a backseat to God’s wisdom.

So, how is the wisdom of God displayed in our lives?

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.” James 3:17-18

As you write a difficult letter, call a company to complain, or dismiss a bad employee (and a 1000 other situations), think about that verse.
