Happy New Year. As you read this 2015 has passed and 2016 is here. New resolutions. New diets. New workouts. New promises. New hopes and dreams.

But what about your internal life? What’s happening inside? Are you being renewed daily? Is your hope in God being renewed day by day?

As Isaiah stated in this verse, God is doing a new thing. “What new thing” you ask? God so much wants to transform us into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. He does that by chipping away at the things in our lives that are a bit off.

Continue trusting Him as He does this new thing. The new thing is different for each of us. Sometimes it will feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders. Other times you’ll wonder why you have it so easy.

God is working and chipping away, bit by bit.
