2 You forgave the iniquity of your people and covered all their sins.
3 You set aside all your wrath and turned from your fierce anger. Psalm 85:2-3

In these verses lay the redemption story in a nutshell. There are dozens of examples scattered throughout the Bible, both Old and New Testaments. But I come again to the question, “Why?” Why would God do this when He knows that they’ll mess up again…and again…and again. So, why?

There are just some questions that are unanswerable except to say “it’s in His character. It’s just who He is.” It is but we want something more exciting. But it’s just that simple.

Realize, too, that as Believers He forgave all our iniquity and covered our sins.

I dare not ask why…
