9 The Lord is good to all;
he has compassion on all he has made. Psalm 145:9
Imagine a world without God’s compassion. We see and hear a lot of terrible things in the news, and it seems to be getting worse every day. We wonder at times where God is in all of this mess. If God were to take out his “restraining hand” on evil, the world as we know it would be hurled into chaos and violence quickly. Selfishness would rule the day. We get glimpses of these societies on occasion and it is ugly.
In fact, we have Brothers and Sisters in Christ who are undergoing heavy persecution. They experience a godless world first hand. The violence against them is severe.
Pray that God would continue to pour out His compassion on His children in those situations.
Pray that He would also move on those persecuting the Believers. Their darkness is darker than most. They need the light of the Gospel in a big way.
