The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. Proverbs 18:10

This is perhaps a favorite verse for many. It speaks of being able, in the midst of a hurricane of overwhelming problems and chaotic circumstances to run unto the Lord. It carries the picture of a child in fear or excitement or worry running to a father, and the arms of the father surrounding the child. The world can come crashing down but it’ll be okay because the father has the child engulfed in his arms.
