The righteous will never be uprooted, but the wicked will not remain in the land. Proverbs 10:30

Wouldn’t it just be great if all those who disagree with you would just go away? Unfortunately that will never happen this side of heaven. And if you think about it, many who disagree with you will also be in heaven!

Instead we have to deal with the fallout of the Fall. The wicked are part of that equation.

In contrast to the first half of the verse, the wicked are never satisfied. They have many “mini-gods” they serve: self, money, jobs, glamour, prestige, etc. They don’t have a lot of foundation.

Take the time today to pray for one or two non-believing friends. Pray that God will cause situations in their lives to cause them to be empty and destitute.

Then pray that you can be an instrument in telling them the Good News of Christ as an opportune moment.
