Ask, Just Ask

And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15

What is it you want from God?

Peace?
Right relationships?
Security for your children and grandchildren?
A good paying job in your skill sets?
Direction?
Wisdom?
A heart for the lost?

Ask, just ask. We have a loving heavenly Father who loves to lavish gifts on His children. Many of the requests in the list are intangible so it’s probably good to ask often because, for instance, we don’t just need wisdom on the job today; we need it everyday in every hour on the job.

He waits for our requests. He waits because He wants to be with you, today and tomorrow and the next 10,000 days after that.
