Then Jesus went up on a mountainside and sat down with his disciples. The Jewish Passover Festival was near. John 6:3-4
Jesus went away with his disciples to teach them. I can just picture them gathering around him as he taught, their ears attentive to what he was saying. The crowds are gone (for now) and the Jewish leaders are off plotting his death. For now he has quality teachable moments. We have no idea what he taught during this time or how in depth it was. But he took them aside.
As we walk with Christ through the day we need some “alone” time with Him as well. It could be a few minutes before you head off to work or even as you lay on your bed before rising in the morning. That solitude with Christ is beneficial to you and quite probably to those around you.
