1 Lord, remember David and all his self-denial. Psalm 132:1

Those who know me know that I love to make people laugh. It’s what I do. Almost 100% of this devotional is serious in nature, but today’s the one exception in nearly 3000 posts.

I read today’s verse just as I finished eating a full bag of potato chips! Clearly, I just couldn’t eat just one*!

Oops.

“David’s” self-denial was shattered when I crumbled that bag and threw it away.
