For these commands are a lamp, this teaching is a light, and the corrections of discipline are the way to life, Proverbs 6:23

If you haven’t done so already, read yesterday’s devotional and apply it. All of this memorization is for a very specific purpose. As today’s Scripture notes, it’s a light and a lamp. Without God’s word, we are lost. Our “moral compass” would be broken. Again, this morning read out loud twice the chapter you chose to memorize, then read it aloud twice before you go to bed. It doesn’t take much effort, but the rewards are well worth the effort.
