Challenged

He who walks with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm. Proverbs 13:20

For those who have read this for any length of time, you’ll know that wisdom is the overarching theme of this Book of the Bible. Every verse mentions it in one form or another. Others, such as this verse, are very clear about how you become wise: each of us must walk alongside those who are wise.

Seems simple enough, right?

But are we doing it? Do we have wise financial counselors? Do we have choose wise friends? Are we have business-savvy friends? Are we being challenged in the way we think about society and societal issues? Who is coming alongside us spiritually?

And of course, how is our daily walk with the Source of all Wisdom, Jesus himself? Are we seeking Him about our choices, and asking Him to challenge our thinking?
