Are you diligent in the things you do to earn a living? Do you slack when the boss isn’t looking? Do you dream of a better life? If we’re honest, we’ll admit that we can answer yes to all of those questions, and possibly they’ve occurred simultaneously on occasion.

Pray that you will be motivated to do your work even when you don’t feel like it or you don’t feel motivated. Times are tough and employers are looking at ways to cut, so be careful out there. Don’t give your employer any reason to cut you except that they can no longer afford you. Pray that you will do everything as unto the Lord and rejoice in your chosen field of work.
