To finish off this section on prayer, we conclude with a powerful truth: rescued from darkness.
The more you read, the more you see the darkness in the world. Oh sure, there are many people doing good and great things, but in general, darkness is becoming more apparent.
Each generation thought the Day of Christ’s Return was imminent. Signs then clearly pointed to His return.
And yet He hasn’t.
We have an ever increasing set of end times scenario phenomena in 2021.
Worldwide digital currency.
Immediate worldwide notifications of events.
Strong push for worldwide vaccination mandates
Evil men and women flaunting their sin.
Rumors of war.
Love of men growing cold.
Society being unable to trade or earn a living due to lack of vaccination (and/or) passport
Fortunately, Christ has rescued us.
If the world economic system were to collapse tomorrow, remember Christ has rescued us. No one can take that away.
Yes, we’d have to deal with the fallout from the crisis (or any crisis for that matter), but we live knowing that Christ has rescued us.
