7 They go from strength to strength, till each appears before God in Zion. Psalm 84:7

The longer it took to get to Zion, the more people got disheartened. Travel was very slow in those days. It would be easy to get discouraged.

Discouragement comes in a different way today. Sometimes it’s dissatisfaction; sometimes it’s just the busyness of life.

Regardless, we need the strength to strength that this author mentions.

We need to know that God won’t abandon us.

We need to know that God is with us before we start our journeys, while we’re walking, and after we finish the journey.

We need to know that we aren’t alone in this battle called life.

We need to know our purpose here.

These are just some of the hundreds of reasons we need His strength day by day.
