Like an ox going to the slaughter…deer stepping into a noose…it will cost him his life.
“Sin will take you further than you want to go, will cost you more than you want to pay, and keep you there longer than you want to stay.”
Perhaps you’re reading this and understand completely the verses above. You were caught like a deer stepping into a noose. Or perhaps you were on the other end, the woman’s end. You played that game and used your sex appeal to lure men into your den, so to speak.
If you don’t know it by now, there is forgiveness in Jesus Christ. What does that mean exactly? It means that “if you that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.” (Romans 10:8-10).
Those sins of the past can be erased. The guilt can be swept away. But you need to take that first step (confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved). It’s the most difficult step you may ever make but you’ll wonder why it took you so long after you made it.
