20 Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living.
21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. Genesis 3:21-22
After their punishment was handed out, life went on but it would never be the same again. Both Adam and Eve would now be wearing some form of clothing. Animals would have to be sacrificed to clothe (and feed) them. Trust had been broken in a number of ways. How would it have been be different had they not sinned? No one knows for sure, but it almost seems like man was “destined” to sin and fall sooner or later. It just happened at the very beginning of the life cycle.
Sin has long lasting consequences even though we don’t see it or know it at the time. Obviously Adam and Eve’s case was vastly different than ours. Their knowledge of good and evil was from God Himself. We have multiple streams of “revelation,” such as the spirit within us, the Bible, the law, other Believers, and the Holy Spirit.
