Who do you take counsel or advice from? I know it’s a vague question and intentionally so. I think, though, that one of the areas throw caution to the wind is in our television (and online) viewing habits. What does that have to do with this verse? Plenty.

The television shapes how we view issues, and that too is intentional on their part. They seek to give us advice on abortion, homosexuality, religion, environmentalism, parenting, fatherhood, and a whole host of other issues. We soak it in night after night after night, rarely questioning or challenging its basic premise.

The advice Hollywood and the news media gives us is deceitful. They shape their programming to match their political views, and rarely give those who disagree with them a fair deal. They know exactly what they’re doing.
