Many a man claims to have unfailing love, but a faithful man who can find? Proverbs 20:6

Perhaps one of the threads that are woven throughout the Bible is this: man will fail you but God never will. Yes, it sounds like a cliche but the fact remains, when everything around you has crumbled, God is there. In fact, when you meet God in that place, chances are good that He will be different than you imagined. Not that He’s changed, mind you, we have.

As I write this, many are saddened by something that a friend has said or done to disappoint. You know that’s not the person’s “true” nature, but it still is saddening. Give it to God. Life it up to Him. Share all. Tell all. But certainly don’t give up on that person, because remember, you may have disappointed others like this (and sometimes without knowing it). And you certainly wouldn’t want someone to write you off.
