Down Memory Lane

4 You kept my eyes from closing; I was too troubled to speak.
5 I thought about the former days, the years of long ago; Psalm 77:4-5

Occasionally we drift down Memory Lane. The internet makes it easy to connect with friends or past acquaintances. We remember the good and the bad. But as time goes by, the bad turns into not so bad, and the good becomes great.

For us as Believers, we are able to remember our past and the misery we were in, but we certainly can look at the changes we’ve been brought through. Some of those changes were/are slow and painful and it may even look like we’re drifting back, but God is still working on us one day at a time, one issue at a time.

We don’t know exactly what He saved us from because we are never able to know the future, but we can be sure our lives are infinitely and eternally better because of what Christ did for us.
