Was this verse written this year? It sure seems like it, doesn’t it? Search the internet for world news and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Whether it’s the Middle East, Russian/Ukraine, China/Hong Kong, the terrorists in Nigeria, ISIS threatening many countries, and any number of other skirmishes, the nations are truly in an uproar. World leaders are getting nervous because they don’t know what they should be doing next to protect their countries.

But God is speaking and many are listening. In nations that persecute Believers, the church is growing exponentially. Even as nations and their leaders try to stamp out Christianity, His truth marches onward.

Today is a day to rejoice. Rejoice in the King who was and is and is to come.

Rejoice, Brothers and Sisters, that your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Rejoice that despite the world being in economic, social, and political upheaval,

God rules supreme. The world may collapse tomorrow but God is still in control.
