Encourage Early and Often

1 I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart;
before the “gods” I will sing your praise.
2 I will bow down toward your holy temple
and will praise your name
for your unfailing love and your faithfulness,
for you have so exalted your solemn decree
that it surpasses your fame.
3 When I called, you answered me;
you greatly emboldened me. Psalm 138:1-3

Everyone needs encouragement. If not today, then tomorrow. If not tomorrow, then the next day. As King, David needed encouragement. As King on the Run, David needed encouragement. He found that encouragement from God himself. As King David didn’t have a lot of peers he could trust. When he was on the run, he had fewer than when he was king.

Take encouragement wherever you can get it. Give it freely. Don’t wait for a better opportunity to give it. Now is the time. You really don’t know how that will embolden a friend or family member to face what he needs to face.
