Who can live and not see death, or who can escape the power of the grave? Psalm 89:48

Wow. think about this verse in relation to some of the previous verses we’ve been discussing. Is it not fitting that “escaping the power of the grave” is right in the middle of it all? I am certain the writer of the Psalm had absolutely no idea how prophetic he would be with this verse. He was writing to a specific audience but his words are a written testimony to God’s faithfulness within the Word of God.

So, let’s answer the question, “who can escape the power of the grave?”

“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?” 1 Corinthians 15:55

Not only has Christ conquered the grave, but so have we. But He was first!
