9 May the desert tribes bow before him and his enemies lick the dust.
10 May the kings of Tarshish and of distant shores bring tribute to him.
May the kings of Sheba and Seba present him gifts.
11 May all kings bow down to him and all nations serve him. Psalm 72:9-10
We know that one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess, but we may not know how significant such a feat is. Think for a moment of all the rulers and royalty in the world. Think how proud they are of their position in governments and societies. Think of all the money, power, and armies they have at their disposal. One day, though, they will bow their knees, not just one knee but both.
They will do it through clenched teeth and probably clenched fist, but they will bow.
It’s something to think about.
