As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17

When iron sharpens iron, you can expect sparks. That’s the nature of the metal coming in close contact.

In the same vein, we should expect friction among those closest to us when we are trying to sharpen or fine tune one another.

It’s all part of the sharpening process.
