25 Brothers and sisters, pray for us. 26 Greet all God’s people with a holy kiss. 27 I charge you before the Lord to have this letter read to all the brothers and sisters.
28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. 1 Thessalonians 5:25-28
To close out this letter, Paul gave a typical salutation, concluding with a verse related to grace. Perhaps more than any attribute of God, Paul learned more about God’s grace and mercy. The Lord didn’t have to extend grace to any of us, but He did.
Likewise, it’s important to extend grace to others as we go through the same battles and struggles. If only we understood this concept better, we’d be more pleasant to be around, become very patient, and be truly concerned about other people more than ourselves.
Is there someone in your life you need to extend grace to today or tomorrow? Remember the ultimate Grace Giver continues to extend His grace to us, no matter our situation.
