First World Problems

12 The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest. Psalm 85:12

It seems to me that when the Lord blesses a people, they know it. Think of the United States of America. Is it blessed and does it “yield its harvest?” Absolutely.
Are there significant problems that could derail the progress its made over the past 230 years? Again, absolutely. But the point is, we are blessed here. We live an easy life. We don’t have major disease, clean drinking water problems, food shortages, or slave labor. Yes, there are tiny pockets of problems but nothing that would suggest this nation is struggling to exist.

Instead we have “first world problems” such as how many weapons our military should stockpile, do we use public funds to subsidize Planned Parenthood, is homosexuality inherited or a choice? We can have these discussions because we don’t have to worry where our next meal is coming from?

So, yes, for the record, He is still good and we are still blessed.
