The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him, “Follow me.” John 1:43

Into our third millenium since Jesus walked the earth and the message is still the same: “follow me.”

It’s the same message for the investment banker, the janitor, the computer engineer, the nurse, the Wall Street bond trader, the firefighter, the mayor, the truck driver, the post man, the student in middle school, the Queen of England, the Pope, the Afghani warlords, the street vendor in Thailand, and anyone who’s walked on this planet.

While we may think this devotional is for all those who have not called on His name, that’s only partially true. Daily he tells us to follow Him, for it is a daily pursuit.
