You who answer prayer, to you all people will come.
When we were overwhelmed by sins, you forgave our transgressions. Psalm 65:2-3

The beauty of the Gospel is that when we were at our darkest hour, He forgave us. Forgiveness is powerful in itself, but forgiveness by someone who can make an eternal difference is unexpected and humbling. We forget what it was like when it was all brand new. It was like we were given a second chance, a chance to do it all over again, but this time to love people in the process, having joy while doing it, and any number of fruits of the Spirit that God begins bringing out in us.

Thank God today for the forgiveness we have in Christ, and for His Holy Spirit, who enables us to embody these fruits of the Spirit.
