I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue. Psalm 66:17
The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is praiseworthy, none of us can dispute that. Have you taken a few minutes lately to praise Him? I’m not talking about a lifetime commitment where you’ll praise and worship 30 minutes a day or anything like that (which wouldn’t be a bad thing at all).
No, it’s much simpler than that.
Simple praise. Spontaneous praise. Unexpected praise. Praise from the heart.
Take the weight of the world off your shoulders for a few minutes and worship. That’s it. You don’t need to solve the problems of the world just now. There’s always tomorrow or the next day.
The Lord doesn’t force us or require us to praise Him, but He welcomes it. As you are with your time and money, be generous with your praise.
