Give Thanks

All the ends of the earth
will remember and turn to the Lord,
and all the families of the nations
will bow down before him,
28 for dominion belongs to the Lord
and he rules over the nations.

29 All the rich of the earth will feast and worship;
all who go down to the dust will kneel before him—
those who cannot keep themselves alive.
30 Posterity will serve him;
future generations will be told about the Lord.
31 They will proclaim his righteousness,
declaring to a people yet unborn:
He has done it! Psalm 22:27-31

No matter how bad things get in life and in society, there will always be a remnant of believers who carry the torch into the next generation. I know that because it’s always been that way.

Now, the Church may dwindle until there are very few, but it will never completely die down as long as God is changing lives.

A changed life tells others about that changed life. The more removed we become from that life-changing experience, the less excited about it we become.

And yet, it doesn’t take much to reflect upon what our lives could have been without Christ.

Take time this Thanksgiving season to reflect on your life and the meaning it has. Reflect on what Christ has done and how He has changed you.
