4 May all the kings of the earth praise you, Lord,
when they hear what you have decreed.
5 May they sing of the ways of the Lord,
for the glory of the Lord is great. Psalm 138:4-5

What would it take for a king, a president, prime minister, or other world leaders to worship God? Certainly they know the physical works of the Lord in creation. Whether they accept it as a creation of God is a separate issue. But to bow the knee and lift up their arms? That would certainly be a welcome scene but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen without a sovereign move of the Holy Spirit.

Many of them crawled over many people to get where they are now. To admit they don’t have all the answers is too much for most of them.

One day, of course, they will all bow their knees and humble themselves before Almighty God.

Pray for the leadership of your country, state, and city. The opportunities they have to become corrupted is great at all levels of government. They have pressures from all sides. Pray that they will stand on principle rather than what is best for their pockets or friends.
