There are a lot of ways we can apply this verse to our lives. The meaning is obvious: in a contest between diligence and laziness, diligence wins every time.
The continents of Asia and Africa are experiencing a harvest of sorts. There has been phenomenal growth in the church over the last decade or two. But with that growth comes persecution.
We should pray for two things today: pray that those who are being persecuted will proclaim the Word of God boldly.
Secondly, ask God to show you what you need to do to experience this harvest. Be prepared for His answer.
