Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me! Psalm 66:20

Can you imagine God sitting up in heaven listening to prayers and saying, “nope, doesn’t meet my criteria…Ha ha ha. She wants what?…How could he ever pray something like that? That’s just too funny….Oh, but here’s a good prayer. Good job, Tammy! Prayer heard.”

No, I can’t imagine it either.

He hears our prayers. Many Believers say that God has three answers to prayer: yes, no, and wait. I believe that limits the way God can answer prayer. No, I believe the God of the Universe hears and accepts our prayers, and answers according to His will. Now the answer could fall into one of those three answers, but it doesn’t have to.

The other side of the coin is God’s love towards us. Though we may say that His love is amazing and wonderful and all of that, I don’t think we fully understand why He does what He does except that it’s just His in His character to love us. In other words, He can’t help Himself but to love us!

Think about that one as you go through your day: He has to love us; it’s in His character.
