4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

2 Peter 1:4

Through God’s glory and goodness, we get to share with others the eternal salvation He has freely given us and entrusted us with.

You and I may not be eloquent of speech or in writing, but we have our testimonies of what God has done for us. No one can deny that or take that experience away from us.

When we see all the hopelessness and despair around the world, we have the cure for that within us.

And so, this verse amplifies the previous verse in that we have personal knowledge of God who called us. We’ve got everything we need to tell our story.
