25 In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.
26 They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded.
27 But you remain the same, and your years will never end.
28 The children of your servants will live in your presence; their descendants will be established before you.” Psalm 102:25-28
It’s difficult for us to grasp eternity because we live in a finite world with beginnings and ends. I think we understand the concept but it’s still very abstract. We like to know how things got started, but do not understand at all how God was before all things.
In other words, who or what created God?
That’s the beauty and wonder of it. He didn’t need to be created. He just existed, and always has existed.
He sees all.
He hears all.
He knows all.
He’s eternal.
He’s unchanging.
He’s the ultimate “been there, done that”.
So then, if we know all of that, why do we struggle to bring our problems to Him?
