After going into hiding for 40 years and leading the Israelites around in the desert for 40 years, it’s safe to say that Moses had his share of really trying days. I’m sure every day he ran the full gamut of emotions. So it’s no surprise that he would want it all to end…soon!

We too have these kinds of days, though probably not every day. Throughout the Bible, God reveals to us that ordinary people – even ones who do extraordinary things – have ordinary emotions and thoughts about things going on in their lives.

The message for the day is if you’re loving God and loving people, keep doing what you’re doing no matter how mundane and ordinary it seems. God will use you, especially on those days when it would be easy to “throw in the towel.”
