Having wisdom is like a little kid who has a secret. He’s not going to tell just anybody because what’s the point? It’s bursting inside him but he waits for the appropriate moment to “spill the beans.” It has to be on his terms. And often, by the time he tells you, you’re more than ready to absorb it.
It’s actually not a bad model to follow.
