In you, Lord my God,
I put my trust. Psalm 25:1
It’s a short verse but a powerful one.
It’s a verse to commit to memory because it’s something we can say confidently:
- before our feet hit the floor in the morning
- as we prepare for work
- as we drive in traffic
- as we meet and interact with others
- as we review the day’s activities
- and as we rest our heads on our pillows each night
It’s an affirmation that (1) we are not in control, and (2) God is.
Commit it to memory and watch the Word of God change your outlook.
