This is an honest verse, isn’t it? Think about bitterness and joy. We want to be able to talk to others about but we are all at different stages in our lives. Even if you grew up with your siblings under the same roof, you are very different from them and it doesn’t take much to recognize the differences when you’re together.

However, just as we cannot fully experience the bitterness or joy (someone is experiencing doesn’t mean we shouldn’t ask the person about it. If the person is not ready to talk (in the case of bitterness, you will be the first person he goes to when he’s ready to talk.
