Like snow in summer or rain in harvest, honor is not fitting for a fool. Proverbs 26:1
Have you ever seen honor bestowed upon a foolish person? We all have. Worse yet, have you ever seen honor bestowed upon an evil man? That too is certainly not right but we all have.
Take the most recent example. Last week the brutal dictator of North Korea Kim Jung Il died. Many persecuted souls rejoiced at the death of such a ruthless evil man. What did the United Nations do? They put their flag at half-mast, a sign of honor and respect in most nations of the world. It’s truly an upside-down world. The man deserved no respect or honor from any international body.
Hopefully . . . hopefully the nightmare in that country has ended for a vast majority of its citizens.
Today, remember the people in North Korea. Nobody really knows how the son will rule.
Pray for the Believers there to stand firm in their faith and to be bold as lions.
Pray that the Gospel will continue to spread in this isolated country.
