4 He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate.
5 He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever.
6 He has shown his people the power of his works, giving them the lands of other nations. Psalm 111:4-6
It’s not hard to see the wonders of God. Whether you’re looking at the “heavens,” the oceans, the mountains, or even His people, the wonders are not far from any of us.
But we have to have eyes to see and ears to hear. If we take for granted the wonders of God, we’ll miss it all.
If you are hungry for the wonders of God, you’ll find great delight in what you see and hear.
If, however, you see dread and despair wherever you look, and if you cannot possibly see anything God has done in this world, you’re probably trying too hard to avoid seeing it.
God is just as powerful and majestic today as He was when this psalm was written.
