7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Matthew 7:7-8
The simplicity of these verses is stunning. The three commands build on each other in urgency. The application is equally simple: just do it.

In a much broader context, progressives wanted to defund and ban the police from their communities in Seattle. They got what they asked for and it is turning out to be really ugly. Unfortunately it’ll only get worse from here. They thought they wanted anarchy until anarchy arrived in the form of a crueler and much more unjust system, if that’s what it is.
On the other hand, if God has impressed upon you to pray for a certain person, don’t give up. Plead and plead with the Father to answer in the way He sees fit. Keep at it.
How long will it take for Him to answer? Nobody knows, but He’ll continue to put that person on your heart until the prayer’s been answered.
